Arson Suspected At Government Housing Building In South LA
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Arson investigators were sent to a public housing building in the Central-Alameda area of Los Angeles Sunday following a fire that was quickly knocked down, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 9:06 a.m. Sunday to 5337 S. Duarte St., a few blocks west of Alameda Street, had the fire out at 9:17 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.

Investigators were dispatched to the two-story building for suspected arson, the LAFD said.
