Bomb Threat Triggers Investigation At LA Area Charter School
A bomb threat was called into New Designs Charter School, prompting a police investigation Tuesday morning.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities investigated a bomb threat Tuesday involving a charter school in the University Park area.
The scare lasted just a couple of hours, however, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison.
Officers were sent to the 2300 block of South Figueroa Way at about 8:15 a.m. on an undisclosed "call for service." By 10 a.m., the threat had been cleared and the school deemed safe.

"It was not a credible threat to begin with," said Madison.
According to KTLA5, the bomb threat was made against New Designs Charter School.
