Brush Fire Breaks Out In Elysian Park
Los Angeles firefighters doused the blaze on North Park Row Drive.

ELYSIAN PARK, CA — A brush fire scorched almost a half-acre near the 500 block of North Park Row Drive in the Elysian Park area.
The half-acre blaze broke out shortly before noon. It took Los Angeles Fire Department crews about a half-hour to knock down the blaze, according to LAFD spokesman Nicholas Prange.
Firefighters planned to remain on the scene through the afternoon to douse hot spots. No one was injured in the blaze.
