June’s Drop-in Workshop for Families is in celebration of Pride Month and puppetry. Puppetry has been a staple in filmmaking for iconic characters such as the Muppets, variations of Pinocchio, and often appears in stop-motion animation. Design and create your own puppet with a unique look and personality to highlight the themes of love and embracing each other’s differences.
After the workshops, be sure to head over to the Sidney Poitier Grand Lobby for a performance from Bob Baker Marionette Theater.
We encourage visitors to attend our weekly Family Matinees film series. A separate admission ticket is required.
