The Los Angeles Guild for Reproductive Health HOSTS SOLD-OUT GALA FUNDRAISER TONIGHT IN SUPPORT OF REPRODUCTIVE HEALTHCARE AND JUSTICE

Stand Up for Our Rights...A Night of Comedy brings together an extraordinary evening of talent, community, and purpose

Los Angeles, CA — Los Angeles Guild for Reproductive Health hosts its highly anticipated annual gala fundraiser tonight, September 18, 2026, at Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. The sold-out event brings together a powerful community of advocates, supporters, and changemakers united in their commitment to reproductive healthcare and justice.

The evening will feature a special tribute to their inaugural honoree, attorney Gloria Allred — recognizing her extraordinary legacy rooted in courage, conviction, and unwavering dedication to equality and justice; an outstanding lineup of talent including host Rita Rudner, special guest Jason Alexander, and professional comedians Mo Collins, John Fugelsang, Carol Leifer, Kira Soltanovich, and Lisa Ann Walter; and a special live and silent auction.

The silent auction closes Friday night at the event, but bidding is already open and anyone can participate whether you’re at the Gala or not.  For more information about how you can view and bid on the 50+ auction items, go to https://events.readysetauction.com/losangelesguildforreproductivehe/nightofcomedy2026.

“The fact that we are still debating a woman's right to control her own body - in 2026 - is shocking. The funds we raise this year will make a profound difference in the lives of thousands of women - and their families - across the country,” said Theresa Chase, President of The Los Angeles Guild for Reproductive Health.

Tonight's gala comes at a critical moment for reproductive rights across the nation. With abortion bans sweeping the nation, providers facing criminal prosecution, and millions of women losing access to essential reproductive healthcare, the urgency of tonight's fundraiser has never been greater.  The funds raised this evening will directly support LAGRH's mission and its partner organizations on the front lines of this fight.

Since its founding in 2021, LAGRH has raised over $800,000 in support of reproductive healthcare and justice — a testament to the power of community showing up when it matters most.
