Experience one of Mexico’s most meaningful traditions during two special weeks at Rancho La Puerta, October 24–31 and October 31–November 7. Día de los Muertos comes to life through colorful altars, cempasúchil marigolds, Catrina-inspired face painting, traditional music and dance, chocolate and pan de muerto, and gatherings that honor the lives and stories of those who came before us.
Throughout your stay, discover the history and significance behind the celebration, enjoy Día de los Muertos-inspired Chef’s Table dinners at La Cocina Que Canta, and take part in special experiences across The Ranch. Guests will also have the opportunity to venture into Tecate for Fundación La Puerta’s beloved Día de Muertos festival at Parque del Profesor, a community tradition more than 24 years strong, featuring spectacular altars and alebrijes, live performances, and an evening filled with remembrance, creativity, and connection.
Come experience wellness through the heart of Mexican culture—and celebrate life, memory, and community in a way only The Ranch can offer.
