LOS ANGELES, CA — A car plowed into a children's dental office in South Los Angeles, sending three to the hospital Thursday afternoon.
Paramedics responded to a crash at 5877 S. Vermont Avenue, just north of Slauson Avenue, shortly after 4:35 p.m. Thursday, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart. An online search places Amor Kids Dentistry at that address.
There were four people hospitalized in the incident including and girl and a woman from inside the car. According to Stewart, they were hospitalized in unknown condition. A patient at the dentist's office was also injured when the vehicle struck the building and was transported, she said. A description of that victim was not immediately available.

A fourth person at the scene but not involved in the collision was also taken to a hospital, Stewart said. Another person from inside the car didn't need to be hospitalized.
It wasn't immediately clear what caused the driver to lose control and crash into the dental office. The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
