LOS ANGELES, CA — Catherine O'Hara, whose iconic career spanned decades, died on Friday at the age of 71. The Canadian-born actress died at her home in Los Angeles “following a brief illness,” according to a statement from her agency, Creative Artists Agency.
From Kevin's mother in "Home Alone" to Moira Rose in "Schitt's Creek," O'Hara got her start in the 1970s when she joined Eugene Levy on the sketch show "SCTV." She is survived by her husband, Bo Welch, and sons Matthew and Luke.
