MONROVIA, CA — Mediterranean-inspired fast casual chain Cava will open a new location in Monrovia this week.

The new location, located in the same Huntington Drive shopping center as Trader Joe's, will open on Thursday, April 2, according to the company.

“Our mission is to bring heart, health, and humanity to food, and everything we do at CAVA is grounded in that spirit of generosity, to our guests, our team members, and our community,” said Corey Cheek, regional director. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to continue to grow our presence in the Los Angelos area with the opening of this new restaurant in Monrovia.”

Ahead of Cava's official opening, the restaurant on April 1 is offering a meal to its neighbors as part of its Community Day tradition. Instead of paying for the food, diners are invited to provide a donation to FoodCycle LA that will be matched by the company, up to $1,000.

Cava will be open at 602 W. Huntington Drive in Monrovia from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
