Chic-fil-A Is Offering Free Breakfast In SoCal This Week

Chic-fil-A fans will be able to redeem the reward at locations across the Southland. Here's what you need to know.

There are just a handful of days left for Southlanders to snag free breakfast at popular fried chicken restaurant, Chic-fil-A.

Kicking off the New Year, the "eat more chikin" chain is celebrating by offering customers a free four-count order of Chick-n-Minis from Monday, Jan. 26 through Saturday, Jan. 31.

But there's one thing you need to do beforehand — download the Chick-fil-A One app — as the promotion is only for its app users. Rewards members should get a push notification when the offer comes available.

Free breakfast will be offered at locations in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura counties, according to the Atlanta-based chain.

Chick-n-Minis are a smaller version of the chain's Chicken Biscuit. These tiny bites come as a chicken nugget on a yeasty roll with honey butter. An order typically costs just under $6.

Breakfast is typically offered until 10:30 or 11 a.m. before the menu switches over to lunch.

The offer was previously available to Northern California residents for the first two weeks of the year.

80 Years Of Chick-fil-A

In other Chick-fil-A news, the company is celebrating 80 years in business with a yearlong roll-out of retro-style cups that will be offered in a new design every few weeks. The designs will be inspired by the chain's cups of the past.

The launch will also include a special Golden Fan Cup design, with 3,000 winners eligible to receive free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.

The chain said that frosted sodas and floats are also being added to the permanent menu, combining "Chick-fil-A Icedream" with a selection of fountain beverages.

In addition, the chain’s Original Chicken Sandwich will being highlighted as part of the promotion with more retro packaging inspired by designs from Chick-fil-A’s history.

Specialty plush cow toys will also be released in rotating designs throughout the year and will be available for purchase exclusively in restaurants.

A broader line of “Newstalgia”-themed merchandise — including apparel and accessories — is scheduled to launch throughout 2026.

“This year marks more than an anniversary — it’s a celebration of the memories, meals and meaningful moments that have brought people together at Chick-fil-A for generations,” Khalilah Cooper, a spokesperson for the company, wrote in a news release. “We have so much in store this year, delivering menu items and experiences that are fresh and exciting yet firmly rooted in Chick-fil-A’s renowned quality, care, generosity, and hospitality. We’re inviting Guests — old and new — to join us in celebrating our heritage, while looking ahead to the future with us.”
