Coyote Chases Toddler Outside LA County Home: Video

PASADENA, CA — A home surveillance camera captured a little boy's terror as a coyote chased him through the front gate of his family's Pasadena home.

Leonard Bessemer said his son, Salvo, had ran outside when he saw the coyote, but turned around to run back to his mother. The video, shared by the boy's family with KTLA, shows the boy screaming and running from the animal.

“We encounter coyotes occasionally but have had none come on the property and pursue us [before],” Bessemer told KTLA. “It’s a quiet neighborhood.”
