The Queen Mary 2’s starboard funnel houses an iconic whistle, originally from Queen Mary and fully refurbished. When the Queen Mary 2 slowed to a stop off the port in Long Beach and within view of The Queen Mary, they shared a whistle salute to celebrate their reunion. A local fireboat put on a spectacular water show in the harbor in her honor.
