Death Of Woman Found At Her Reseda Home Investigated As Homicide
A family member who could not reach 48-year-old Michelle Avan called police, who found her body early Thursday morning.
RESEDA, CA — A 48-year-old Reseda woman was found dead insider her home Thursday, and police are investigating her death as a homicide.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were called to the home of Michelle Avanin the 19300 block of Covello Street near Tampa Avenue and Saticoy Street, early Thursday morning by a family member who could not reach her.
Responding officers arrived at about 7 a.m. and found her body at the scene. Though a cause of death was not determined, Avan "appeared to have suffered trauma to her face," according to a statement released by the LAPD.

Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
