Dodgers Fans To Honor Lost Loved Ones At Dia De Los Dodgers

At Dia De Los Dodgers, fans will have a chance to pay tribute to the spirit of loved ones who shared their love of baseball.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles Dodgers will hold their second Dia De Los Dodgers celebration at Wednesday evening's game against the Colorado Rockies, with fans encouraged to honor the spirit and memories of a beloved family member or friend who helped foster their love baseball and the Dodgers.

The team will have a Dodger-themed altar, similar to those used on Dia de los Muertos, behind Dodger Stadium's Right Field Pavilion where fans can share their memories on notecards.

Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is celebrated throughout Mexico and Latin America to recognize and remember those who have died.
