Driver Killed In South El Monte Crash

The man, in his 20s, died at the scene, authorities said.

LOS ANGELES, CA – A driver was killed in a single-car crash in South El Monte Friday, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 1:35 a.m. in the 2300 block of Seaman Avenue, the sheriff's Temple Station reported.

The man, in his 20s, died at the scene, coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter said. Authorities withheld his name, pending notification of kin.
