LOS ANGELES, CA — A Boston-based coffee conglomerate just settled deeper roots in Southern California, announcing that the Los Angeles Dodgers now run on Dunkin'.

L.A.'s 2020 world champs have selected Dunkin' Donuts as their official coffee and donut, the franchise confirmed Wednesday.

The Massachusetts institution, founded in 1950, has also teamed up with the Red Sox and Yankees in the past, but with more than 50 locations throughout the Southland, the Dodgers say the coffee house has "cemented its presence in the region" since it first arrived to the West Coast in 2014.

"We’ve seen an incredible amount of support from our customers throughout Southern California,” said Molly Wiley, Director of Field Marketing at Dunkin’.

While the coffee giant is indeed from the East Coast, it has certainly earned support from some Southland locals, including Pacific Palisades resident Ben Affleck, who was seen attempting to juggle a tray of Dunkin' iced coffees and a box of munchkins near his home.

As coronavirus cases are steadily falling in Los Angeles and statewide, stadiums could open up again soon. And when they do, Dunkin’ Hot Coffee, Iced Coffee, Espresso, and Hot Chocolate will be offered at 13 stands throughout Dodger Stadium.

"Dunkin’ has the unique ability to connect with Dodger fans at their local restaurants throughout Southern California and we’re thrilled to welcome them to the Dodger family," said Corey Norkin, Dodger Vice President of Global Partnerships.

A Dodgers Signature Latte was also concocted through this alliance — a Dodger blue Blueberry Crisp Latte made with Dunkin' espresso and topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and cinnamon sugar. The drink will first be served on April 9 during the team's home opener.

Also, beginning April 1, Dunkin' will offer a bonus 4x points to DD Perks members on hot and iced drinks at locations across the greater Los Angeles area. Members can earn five points for every dollar they spend on purchases, the company said.
