SANTA BARBARA, CA — It isn't every day you ask the woman of your dreams to spend her life with you. So when a professional basketball player photobombs her saying "yes!" it must be the best luck ever.

Ryan Basch and girlfriend Katie Ryan have been together for nearly six years, according to his Instagram. A trip to Santa Barbara and a stroll along the beach was the perfect place for this Sonoma County man's proposal.

You can see the look of "awwww" on Dwyane Wade's face, perfectly captured in the photo as he accidentally photobombed the couple's engagement.

The retired three-time NBA champion and Miami Heat player, husband to Gabrielle Union, paused his sunset walk to share in the couple's joy, visibly moved by the proposal. Afterward, he took a photo with the pair.

"It was so dope to witness you guys love!" Wade shared on his Instagram story.

Ryan Basch shared his thoughts, saying: This is insane! Dwyane Wade, you're the man!

The sweet engagement was quickly picked up by Sports Illustrated who shared Wade's private DM with the pair.

"I need y'all marriage to work," he said, adding that their engagement is now on his conscience.
