Early Tuesday Shooting Under Investigation In East Hollywood
Police said a 40-year-old man was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Los Angeles police are investigating an early Tuesday homicide in the 800 block of North Vermont Avenue in East Hollywood.
In a release, police said the homicide happened around 5:20 a.m. Tuesday. Officers were sent to the location after a Shots Fired call came across the radio.
Police said the victim, a 40-year-old Hispanic man, was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Police had not released the victim's name as of writing.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Police said they do not know if the shooting was gang related. No other information was immediately available.
