Father Arrested After Baby Girl's Body Found In LA River: Report

INGLEWOOD, CA — An Inglewood father has been arrested after his baby girl's body was found in the Los Angeles River in Long Beach, police told ABC7 Tuesday.

Police said 22-year-old Jayveyon Burley was arrested on suspicion of murder and child endangerment after police found 1-year-old Leilani Dream Burley's body in the Los Angeles River below the Ocean Boulevard Bridge, the outlet reported.

Inglewood police told ABC7 that were contacted by Burley's mother Sunday night after Burley picked up his two children from their mother in Long Beach and then arrived home in Inglewood with only one child.
