Feds, LAPD Make Arrests In Sex Trafficking Enforcement Operation

LOS ANGELES, CA — Federal and local law enforcement officers arrested at least five people Wednesday during a crackdown on sex trafficking along the Figueroa Corridor south of downtown Los Angeles.

Officials including First Assistant United States Attorney Bill Essayli, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations Los Angeles Eddy Wang, Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell and Darren Lian, Special Agent in Charge of IRS Criminal Investigations Los Angeles Darren Lian, were scheduled to provide details about the operation at news conference Wednesday morning.
