Fire Damages Venice Home
One woman suffered possible smoke inhalation in the fire that broke out Thanksgiving evening.
VENICE, CA — Firefighters put out a fire that damaged a home in Venice on Thanksgiving day. The blaze broke out just before 5 p.m., and a woman was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
The blaze broke out inside a home at the 1300 block of South Walgrove Ave., and it took 26 firefighters to put out the fire in just under 15 minutes, said fire department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
One woman was being evaluated for smoke inhalation, Stewart continued. No other injuries were reported.
