Fire In Unit Of Fourplex In Highland Park Quickly Extinguished
A total of 31 firefighters were able to snuff out the flames in minutes.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters extinguished a fire in the rear unit of a fourplex in Highland Park in nine minutes Monday evening.
Crews responded at 11:26 p.m. to the 300 block of Avenue 61, near Mesa Avenue, and found the unit well involved with fire and threatening three vehicles, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A total of 31 firefighters snuffed out the flames and a knock down was called at 11:35 p.m., Humphrey said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
