Flights Delayed At LAX Amid Storm Related Electrical Issue
Cancelations and delays were possible for holiday travelers at Los Angeles International Airport Sunday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Travelers at Los Angeles International Airport were warned Sunday morning that a storm-related electrical issue could prompt flight cancelations and delays, airport officials tweeted.
Passengers using Terminal 5 — American Airlines, JetBlue and Spirit — were urged to check their flight status and arrive early amid the ongoing issue.
"Cancellations and delays are possible, so it will be important to check your flight status today if flying through Terminal 5," airport officials tweeted.

Travelers will be able to check in with their airline as normal but will be temporarily directed to security checkpoints and baggage claims in Terminals 4 and 6, officials said.
No additional information was immediately released.
