Frontier Flight Crew Hospitalized After Spill On Plane To LAX

A Frontier Airlines crew on a trip from Denver to LA had to be hospitalized Friday after an unknown liquid spilled during the flight.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Four Frontier Airlines cabin crew members were taken to a hospital for treatment Friday after an unknown liquid spilled onboard their flight from Denver to Los Angeles.

The airplane landed safely at Los Angeles International Airport about 9:30 a.m., and it was met by hazardous-materials investigators, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

"This small amount of liquid was analyzed closely and it was determined to be non-toxic," Humphrey said. "The aircraft landed safely and taxied to the gate where the passengers were discharged."

No passengers needed medical attention, Humphrey said.

The fluid spilled in the cabin near the galley, not far from the restroom, he said.
