Girl Scouts Debut 'Adventureful' New Cookie
The brownie-inspired Adventureful will be the first new Girl Scout cookie sold across Los Angeles in three years.

LOS ANGELES, CA — If your idea of adventure involves testing out a chewy mouthful of chocolate, caramel and sea salt, then 2022 is your year. The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles Tuesday unveiled the Girl Scouts' newest cookie: "Adventurefuls."
The new cookies will go on sale next year across the Southland. It will be the first time in three years that the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles has released a new cookie, so the brownie-inspired cookie with caramel-flavored crème and a hint of sea salt really is something of an adventure. But for those who prefer the comfort of familiar favorites, the "Adventurefuls" cookie will debut alongside favorites such as Thin Mints and Samoas.
"Every purchase of Adventurefuls, and the rest of the cookie lineup during cookie season, helps fund local Girl Scouts' adventures. Through the Girl Scouts' cookie program, girls also become entrepreneurs as they gain hands-on experience running their own small business," the Girls Scouts announced in a written release.

Along with the new cookies will come a new badge aimed at inspiring young women to become entrepreneurs. The Scouts this year announced a new Cookie Business badges to encourage girls to think like entrepreneurs and run their own cookie businesses and incorporate online sales.
The badges progress from goal setting and effective sales- pitching in person and online to using market research, creating business plans, and implementing digital marketing campaigns.
