'Good Day LA' Anchor Steve Edwards' Abrupt Ousting Prompts Rumors
Veteran LA news anchor Steve Edwards is out as 'Good Day LA' anchor.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Steve Edwards, the longtime face of Fox11's "Good Day LA" has abruptly parted ways with the morning show after decades on the job.
Edwards has been a fixture of Southern California local news since the 70s and a Fox11 reporter since the 90s. Fox confirmed his departure Monday. While the station gave no reason for the firing, several outlets reported that he was fired amid allegations of sexual harassment. Patch has not been able to confirm those reports.
A representative for the station said only, "We can confirm that Steve Edwards is no longer employed by KTTV."

Edwards began working at KTTV in the mid-1990s, but he has been anchoring programs in Southern California since the late 1970s, when he hosted "The Steve Edwards Show" and then "Two on the Town" for CBS2. He subsequently anchored ABC7's "AM Los Angeles."
