Grass Fire Breaks Out At Homeless Encampment By 110/5 Freeways

Fire firefighters are battling a blaze along the southbound Pasadena (110) Freeway near the (5) Freeway​ near Lincoln Heights.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters battled a small grass along the he southbound Pasadena (110) Freeway near the Golden State (5) Freeway near Lincoln Heights Wednesday afternoon.

The fire broke out at about 12:13 p.m. at a homeless encampment along the freeway, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart. Smoke from the fire could be seen throughout the area.

No injuries reported, Stewart said.
