WHITTIER, CA — Police in Whittier hope witnesses may be able to help solve a mysterious kidnapping that left them little to go on beyond a puddle of blood left at a park in the middle of the night Sunday.
Authorities are looking for 19-year-old Andrea Vazquez, who was last seen with a man shortly after midnight Sunday at Penn Park, 13950 Penn Street, according to the Whittier Police Department.
"An adult male witness reported that while at the park with an adult female companion, an armed suspect approached their vehicle and fired a weapon in their direction," police said in a statement.
