LOS ANGELES, CA — Break out the fava beans and a nice chianti — Hannibal Lecter's mask is up for auction Saturday!
Perhaps the creepiest of masks in cinema history, the "Silence of the Lambs" memorabilia is among a trove of 102 treasures from American cinematic history available to bidders through Studio Auctions Saturday morning.
The auction, dubbed ‘The Force is Strong with Studio Auctions’ will include Yoda’s walking stick, the Hoverboard Michael J Fox rode in "Back to the Future," Robert Downey Jr.’s helmet from "Iron Man," Jack Nicholson's Axe from "The Shining," and the concept art from the iconic famed "Scarface" movie poster.

"There are so many great things in this auction for everyone," said Brad Teplitsky, an attorney and auction organizer. "I expect all of them to do well. I expect Hannibal Lector's mask to do very well."
The team spent months amassing the collection and verifying the authenticity of each item, he said. It's a process that involves authenticating the paperwork, verifying the provenance of the items and matching them with available film images, said Teplitsky.

Saturday's Feb. 17 auction will start with a preshow at 9:30 a.m. featuring Lee Majors of "The Six Million Dollar Man" and Brent Spiner who lays Data in "Star Trek: The Next Generation."
The auction will be streamed for bidders worldwide. Pre-bidding is now open at StudioAuctions.com, and the live, in-person auction will start at 10 a.m. PST at 1600 Rosecrans Ave (Building 7, Suite 101), Manhattan Beach.

- Anthony Hopkins mask from The Silence of the Lambs – Opening bid $60,000
- R2D2 from Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 – Opening bid $50,000
- Robert Downey Jr.’s helmet from Iron Man – Opening bid $50,000
- Michael J. Fox's Hoverboard from Back to the Future – Opening bid $50,000
- Jack Nicholson's Axe from the Shining – Opening bid $50,000
- Lee Majors' Bionic arm from the Six Million Dollar Man – Opening bid $30,000
- Baby Groot miniature from Guardians of the Galaxy – Opening bid $25,000
- Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones glasses from Raiders of the Lost Ark – Opening bid: $25,000
- Harry Potter’s wand, 6 total wands from Fantastic Beasts, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Deathly Hallows – Opening bids range from $2,000 to $10,000
