Have You Seen Missing Los Angeles Octogenarian Alex Mendoza?
Alex Gonzalez Mendoza was last seen July 7, and authorities are asking for help finding him.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities and the loved ones of an 83-year-old man who disappeared in Los Angeles earlier this month are asking for help finding him.
Alex Gonzalez Mendoza, who suffers from serious medical conditions including dementia, has been missing since July 7, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. He was last seen near his home in the 1500 block of East 77th Place in South Los Angeles.
"Mr. Mendoza suffers from dementia, congestive heart failure and has a pacemaker," a sheriff's department statement said. "Any information, please contact the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau, Missing Persons Detail.

Mendoza is Hispanic, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222- TIPS. Tipsters may also use the website http://lacrimestoppers.org .
