Heather Locklear Arrested In Domestic Violence Drama

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Actress Heather Locklear is facing charges of domestic violence and battery of a police officer following her Sunday night arrest in Thousand Oaks.

According to multiple media reports, the former "Melrose Place" star is accused of attacking her live-in boyfriend. The 56-year-old actress and supermodel was booked on suspicion of one felony count of domestic violence and three misdemeanor counts of battery of emergency personnel into Ventura County jail Sunday. According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department, she was released by Monday morning.

Locklear is due in court on March 13, according to Variety. Few details of the altercation have been released Sheriff's Capt. Garo Kuredjian confirmed to KNX radio the alleged victim is Locklear's live-in boyfriend.
