The Daily Meal recently unveiled its “The Most Anticipated Restaurants of 2020” list, and the online food and dining site included three restaurants from Los Angeles.
Here are the new restaurants you should be most excited about in 2020, according to the Daily Meal’s report.

- Girl & The Goat: expected to open in the Los Angeles Arts District in early 2020.
According to the Daily Meal, this will be the second Girl & The Goat opened by Stephanie Izard, whose original has been one of Chicago's best eateries for the last decade. - Market Tavern : Expected to open at the LA’s Original Farmers Market in early 2020.
Dubbed hip Brit cuisine, the Market Tavern is a cross between a British pub and classic Californian restaurant, according to the Daily Meal.
- Gigi’s: Expected Address to open in early 2020 in Hollywood’s La Brea Corridor.
Gigi's is the highly anticipated casual French bistro that will showcase local produce and classic French cooking techniques.
In order to compile the list, the Daily Meal reached out to dining publicists and industry figures with expert knowledge of the most anticipated American restaurants of 2020.
“Plenty of exciting new concepts are coming, from food halls and tasting counters to Neapolitan pizzerias, ramen shops and touristy spots from super-famous chefs, but they all have a couple things in common,” authors of the report said. “They are all expected to open in 2020, and we can’t wait for any of them.”
