Hit-And-Run Vehicle Kills Man Riding Scooter In South LA
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A hit-and-run vehicle fatally struck a 60-year-old man riding a scooter in South Los Angeles Sunday morning, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 1 a.m. in the 100 block of East Manchester Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Division.
A vehicle going westbound on Manchester struck the scooter, which was going in the same direction, police said.
