Home Invasion Robbers Tackle Woman In Fairfax District

Police are looking for two men who tackled a woman in her home near Wilshire and took cash, jewelry and a cell phone before fleeing.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police are looking Wednesday for two suspects who entered a woman's home and tackled her before making off with cash and jewelry in the Fairfax District.

The home invasion was reported around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of North Fuller Avenue, said Sgt. Patrick Welsh of the Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire Division. The woman suffered minor injuries in the attack but did not need to be hospitalized, he said.

The robbers took cash, jewelry and a cell phone before fleeing the home, according to Welsh.
