"Let's have one unified voice raised as high as the voices around the world in opposition to corruption, authoritarian rule, and inhumanity. This is our "Hong Kong" moment. In the words of the late, Honorable Congressman Elijah Cummings, "When we're dancing with the angels, the question will be asked: In 2019, what did we do to make sure we kept our democracy intact?," said event organizers.

LA's event coincides with Moveon.org's nationwide "Impeach and Remove" effort on Tuesday.
