Jared Leto Accused Of Sexual Misconduct By 4 Women In New Documentary
Four women accused the Oscar-winning actor and musician of sexual misconduct when they were teenagers. He denies the allegations.

Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto on Wednesday denied allegations of sexual abuse made by four women in a new BBC documentary.
The documentary, “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret,” includes accounts from 10 women who described encounters with Leto between 2002 and 2016, Deadline reported.
“I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life,” Leto, 54, said in a statement. “These claims are absolutely and categorically false.”

One woman claims she was 17 when Leto sexually assaulted her in Las Vegas in 2002. Another said she had sex with Leto at his California home in 2006 when she was 17, which would constitute statutory rape under California law, Deadline reported.
A third woman claims Leto made sexually explicit phone calls and propositions after meeting her at a Los Angeles modeling agency when she was 16. A fourth accused him of making a sexual threat after a 2013 Thirty Seconds to Mars concert in London, according to the reports.

The BBC said it corroborated the women’s accounts. Patch was unable to verify them. The documentary did not identify the women by their full names.

According to the BBC, Leto did not respond to requests for comment before the documentary was released.
Similar allegations surfaced last year after Los Angeles DJ Allie Teilz posted on Instagram that Leto assaulted her when she was 17. Nine women later accused Leto of inappropriate conduct in a report published by Air Mail.
A representative for Leto denied those allegations at the time and described Teilz’s claim as false, Deadline reported.
Leto won an Academy Award for his supporting role in “Dallas Buyers Club” and is the frontman of Thirty Seconds to Mars. He recently appeared as Skeletor in “Masters of the Universe.”
