Jewelry, Cell Phone Snatched During Home Invasion In Fairfax District
Someone inside the home was assaulted by the suspects, police said.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Some jewelry and cell phones were snatched during a violent home invasion robbery Saturday morning in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched at 4:32 a.m. Saturday to a residence in the 800 block of North Detroit Street, near Melrose and La Brea avenues, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
An occupant at the home was assaulted by two armed men and was treated at the scene by paramedics, according to the LAPD's Media Relations Division. The victim's condition was not immediately clear.
