L.A., Long Beach Port Truckers Win Wage Theft Settlement: Report
XPO Logistics, one of the world's largest trucking companies, will pay $30 million in the settlement, the report says.
LOS ANGELES — XPO Logistics agreed Tuesday to settle class-action lawsuits filed by Los Angeles and Long Beach truck drivers who claimed they earned less than minimum wage, according to the LA Times.
The Times reported that XPO, one of the world's largest trucking companies, will pay $30 million in the settlement.
Drivers alleged that two XPO subsidiaries did not pay drivers for missed meal and rest periods, did not reimburse them for business expenses, and paid them less than legal wages, according to the report.
