LA Firefighter Hurt In Beverly Grove Blaze
Firefighters arrived on the scene of a single-story house with flames shooting through the attic.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A Los Angeles Fire Department firefighter was injured battling a house fire in Beverly Grove Wednesday morning.
The blaze broke out shortly before 10 a.m. in the 800 block of North La Jolla Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
"Crews arrived to find a boarded-up one-story single-family home with fire in the rear bedroom and throughout the attic," said Los Angeles Fire Department Nicholas Prange. " It took 32 firefighters 25 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish the flames, using coordinated efforts between rooftop ventilation and interior fire attack."

One firefighter with non-life-threatening injuries has been transported to a local hospital in fair condition, he said.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
