LA-Native TAMA Makes a Splash on New Social App LIVIT
The artist finds success in a new and innovative realm

LIVIT is an international live streaming app for rising music artists, entertainers and influencers across the board. Making a splash in the overseas market, the buzzworthy platform is now breaking grounds in the U.S. in unique and innovative ways.During the pandemic, streaming has become increasingly popular; not only in terms of creators engaging with their fans, but bringing in extra cash flow in a time of uncertainty. This resonates especially in younger generations who are seeking to connect with the outside world, in which oftentimes they are lacking the freedom to head to work as normal. With the LIVIT app, streamers are able to monetize their content in real time. Viewers have the option to "gift" or donate money to their favorite creators, supporting their artistry. This allows content creators on LIVIT to take charge in building their own careers.LIVIT enables users to watch real, entertaining and live content 24/7, as well as make real connections with streamers and viewers. Streamers on Livit make money from their content by gaining in-app coins from fans.Viewers can also take a look into the lives of the hottest talent and most captivating personalities, while being a part of the supportive community by commenting in streams and attending exclusive events.
Head of Operations for LIVIT in the U.S., Armin Collosi gives additional insight on the future of streamers on the LIVIT app stating:"I'm excited to see the next generation of content that streamers are going to produce once they're allowed to explore the world again. Traveling and exploration content is one of my favorites, along with getting more behind-the-scenes content from some of my favorite musicians and artists. Watching these musicians in their creative process and getting a behind-the-scenes look as to how challenging it can be to create some of the most influential songs of all time."

Today we also focus on Tama of Soy Sauce Doodles, an upcoming and popular streamer on the LIVIT app. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Tama is a professional artist who made a living selling art at various conventions. Livit offered her a contract to stream giving her an opportunity to focus on art. With time to focus she started building her portfolio and eventually was offered a job with a salary as lead character designer for a video game.I had the opportunity to speak with the artist about her creative endeavors alongside her involvement and success with the LIVIT app.

Q: What drove you to collaborate with the LIVIT app?
A: Before the pandemic, I sold my art at various conventions and events. With everything being shut down, my income diminished and I needed to find an alternative way to sustain myself. I was offered to stream on the LIVIT app which was trying to grow their platform in the USA. As a previous streamer, I saw this opportunity to get back into streaming and to establish myself on a new platform.
Q: What kind of content do you like to bring to your viewers?
A: I'm a virtual livestreamer, Vliver for short, where I stream as a character instead of using my actual face. I wanted to bring something different visually to LIVIT. On my streams I work on art and share my creative process with my audience. I also on occasion, I stream video games and offer to play games with my audience providing a more interactive experience!
Q: What features do you like on the app that you don't get on others like Instagram and TikTok?
A: I do like that Livit provides free ways for my audience to show their support. For instance, the Snack system and earning free gifts that the viewers can send to their streamer of choice! Not a lot of apps that I know of reward viewers for just simply watching and interacting with streamers. Without the support of our viewers and the rewards they can earn, many streamers including me wouldn't be so successful!
Q: What inspires you and drives your vision on the account?
A: What inspires and drives me is my art and wanting to improve it. Art is my one an only creative outlet that I have a strong passion for and I want to, not only make it my career, but to be able to express myself through it and see how far I can take it. Being able to share my art on a platform meant for artists gave me motivation to pursue it even harder.
Q: How has your streaming routine changed for you since the pandemic?
A: Before streaming on LIVIT, I was living day to day unmotivated to do much of anything. I had streamed on other platforms with little to no success, the killer thing being the the view count and noticing that no one was really watching or that whoever was watching, were just bot accounts which provided false interaction and inflated numbers. As an artist, is was very hard to grow on other platforms without trying to conform to what is popular. I did make art, but it was with the motivation to sustain income for myself instead of just enjoying making art and making what I loved. Since streaming on LIVIT, I found my way to love my art again and to try and improve it and share the process with others. I was able to start working on my portfolio and I soon after was able to get a job working as a lead character artist for a game!
Q: How has streaming overall on LIVIT helped you to connect with fans and viewers from around the world?
A: LIVIT has helped me establish an audience that shares similar interests! Not only do I get to stream my art and share the games I love playing, I also provide a place for those with similar interests a safe place to talk and hang out!
Q: At the end of the day, what do you want viewers to take away from your streams?
A: What I want viewers to take away from my streams is that art is not as easy as it looks. There is time and effort put into art that a lot of people don't recognize because all they see is the result. I hope that people who come by my streams can better understand and recognize the effort and therefore appreciate those around them better who create like I do.
