LA Pride 2023: 10 Events In The County Celebrating Love
From West Hollywood to Long Beach, there is no shortage of ways to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Los Angeles County.

LOS ANGELES, CA — This Pride month, Angelinos will look to celebrate individuality and love amid national pressure put on the LGBTQ+ community.
From West Hollywood to Long Beach, there is no shortage of ways to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Los Angeles County.
Here are 10 events and celebrations coming up in Los Angeles this Pride month:

Long Beach Proud! Fest
MAY 19 - 21: The three-day event at Long Beach's "Gayborhood" at Alamitos Beach kicks off with a Night Out from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. May 19, to support local queer-owned small businesses. The next day the free festival at Bixyby Park will include three stages where 18 artists will perform, beer gardens, curated experiences and a queer bicycle parade. The last day closes celebrations off with the "Big Gay Beach Takeover" where multiple DJs and food trucks will populate the beach at the rainbow lifeguard tower.

Our Pride Film Festival
MAY 22 - JUNE 28: The 2023 OUR PRIDE Video and Arts Fest is a youth-focused virtual festival that showcases WeHo's Pride. The month-long event will feature itsYouth short films, feature films, queer history, art galleries, literature, art projects and more. The theme of this year's events is "LOVE WINS! Compassion, Resilience and Solidarity."

Queer Prom 2023 - Behind the Velvet Rope
JUNE 1: Kicking off Pride month, this Studio54-themed celebration will raise funds for Equality Fashion Week, LA's first LGBTQ+-focused fashion week. The night will feature performances, music and a Photo Booth. The event will take place at Sunset at Edition from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. Tickets start at $15 and go up to $85.
Santa Monica Pride Festival
JUNE 3: This year's Santa Monica Pride events kick off on June 3 with the festival that will turn the entire downtown district into a PRIDE zone. From the Third Street Promenade to the Pier, treats, games and musical performances will be available for people of all ages. The festival is free!

West Hollywood Pride Events
JUNE 2 - 4: OUTLOUD music festival at WeHo Pride will kick off the city's celebrations with headliners Carly Rae Jepsen and Grace Jones performing. Single-day festival tickets start at $34 and go to $94 and weekend passes range from $79 to $189. The VIP WeHo Pride Pass will run you up to $259. To get tickets, visit the festival site.
JUNE 3 - 4: The WeHo Pride Street Fair is free and open to the public from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Saturday to Sunday. Attendees will get to enjoy exhibitor booths, vendors and an entertainment stage.
JUNE 3: The Women's Freedom Festival will take place from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and will feature emerging LGBTQ and BIPOC women, non-binary musicians, comedians, poets and activists at the Community Stage.
JUNE 3: The annual Dyke March featuring a motorcycle-led march will meet at the Community Stage and will begin immediately following the Women's Freedom Festival at 6 p.m.
JUNE 4: The WeHo Pride Parade will move from Crescent Heights to San Vicente starting at 12 p.m. on Sunday. Last year's parade drew tens of thousands of spectators to the streets of West Hollywood and is fun for all ages.

Bears In Space x Horse Meat Disco
JUNE 9: Lauded as the "wildest intergalactic space jam of the year," the Bears in Space x Horse Meat Disco will take place in Downtown LA. The event is for people aged 21 and up and tickets will run you $60. More information will be sent to ticket holders closer to the date of the event, officials said.
LA Pride in the Park
JUNE 9 - 10: The LA Pride in the Park celebration at LA State Historic Park will feature performances, food and beverage, bars and local vendors and LGBTQ+ exhibitors. Megan Thee Stallion will headline Friday and Mariah Carey will headline Saturday. Tickets start at $99 for single-day tickets and go up to $589 for VIP access.

LA Pride Parade
JUNE 11: The iconic LGBTQ+ procession will take over Hollywood Boulevard with music, performances and surprises. The parade is free and will be streamed live on ABC7. Over 145,000 people attended last year's parade and this year's Grand Marshals will be Margaret Cho and the late actor Leslie Jordan, who will be honored as the Legacy Grand Marshal.

LA Pride Village
JUNE 11: Neighboring the LA Pride Parade, attendees can enjoy various performances, a local vendor market, food and beverage and a lot of dancing. The village will be open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Hermosa Beach Pride
JUNE 16 - 17: The third annual Hermosa Beach Pride celebration in the South Bay will feature a variety of events throughout the city. Last year's events included drag shows, a parade, a silent disco and a beach day.
