LA Protestors Gather Outside Garcetti's Home On Thanksgiving

Los Angeles police officers were monitoring a demonstration that gathered around 100 protestors in front of the Getty House Thursday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — For several days in a row, protestors gathered outside the Getty House, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti's official home as police officers amassed to monitor the gathering. On Thanksgiving morning, more than 100 had gathered in front of the house, according to those tweeting from the scene.

Reporter Cerise Castle tweeted from the scene that demonstrators were protesting Garcetti's potential consideration for President-elect Joe Biden's cabinet. Castle added that police gave a dispersal order.

On Wednesday, Los Angeles police officers were outside the Los Angeles Mayor's residence in Hancock Park in a face off against protestors.

A group of about 50 people was protesting outside the Getty House at 605 South Irving Blvd.
