LA Sheriff's Deputy Wounded in Accidental Shooting
The deputy, an unidentified woman, was hospitalized in unknown condition Friday morning.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A Los Angeles County sheriff's was rushed to a hospital Friday with a gunshot wound from an accidental discharge.
The shooting occurred near the South Los Angeles station at 1310 W. Imperial Highway about 5:10 a.m., the department said. The female deputy's condition was not immediately known.
The department did not identify the deputy. Officials also did not say who fired the weapon nor who the gun belonged to.
