LA Suspect Wounded in Officer-Involved Shooting After 3 Stabbed
The man's condition was not immediately known and no officers were injured.

VAN NUYS, CA -- A suspect was injured in an officer-involved shooting Saturday in Van Nuys where three adults were stabbed, authorities said.
The man's condition was not immediately known and no officers were injured, said Officer Mike Lopez of the LAPD's Media Relations Section.
Officers were dispatched at about 1:10 p.m. to the 6400 block of Tyrone Avenue, said Lopez, adding that he had no other immediate information.

But firefighters also responded to the scene at 1:10 p.m. where they found two women and a man with stab wounds, Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.
A 40-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman were taken to hospitals in critical condition, Stewart said. A woman believed to be about 47 years old was hospitalized with wounds that were not believed to be life-threatening.
