LAFD Knocks Down Stubborn House Fire In Harbor Gateway Area

The department dispatched 34 firefighters to the location, officials said.

HARBOR GATEWAY, CA — Firefighters knocked down a stubborn house fire Sunday in the Harbor Gateway area.

The blaze at 17224 S. Hoover St. was reported at 2:27 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

The department dispatched 34 firefighters to the location, and they extinguished the flames in 24 minutes, Humphrey said.
