LAPD Seeks Hit-and-Run Driver Who Hit Man in Crosswalk
Police are searching for a driver that hit a pedestrian and his dog and drove away, authorities said.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Police asked for the public's help Friday to identify the driver of a pickup that hit a man walking his dog in a Los Angeles crosswalk.
The hit-and-run crash occurred around 3:40 p.m. on Dec. 24 at Huntington Drive and Kendall Avenue, according to Los Angeles police.
The motorist was driving a model year 2007-13 green Toyota Tundra, police said. The truck had custom wheels. running boards and a bed cover.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. He suffered sever injuries and was recovering, police said.
