Deputies are investigating a fatal shooting that left a woman dead in Norwalk.

NORWALK, CA — Deputies Saturday are investigating a fatal shooting that left a woman dead in Norwalk.

The shooting occurred Saturday at 1:20 a.m. on the 11000 block of Rosecrans Avenue and Studebaker Road, said Lt. Christopher Oakley of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The victim, a female adult, was pronounced dead at the scene by Engine 15 of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
