LOS ANGELES, CA — Police at Los Angeles International Airport cleared the investigation of a "suspicious item" in Terminal 4 on Saturday morning, officials tweeted.

Passengers were urged to check their flight status for possible impacts and allow extra time for travel.

The terminal was evacuated and shut down after a cooler was left unattended at the terminal, one person tweeted.
