Little Black Kitten Named Boo Survives A Scare But Still Needs Help

Matching donations to the Pasadena Humane Society will help cover the cost for a the black kitten who was hit by a car.

PASADENA, CA — It should be Boo's month. She's a little back cat heading into the holiday made for little black cats. But Boo, a 9-week-old kitten, was struck by a car and brought to the Pasadena Humane Society in bad shape recently.

"Little 9-week-old Boo arrived at Pasadena Humane in horrible shape. The team received a call saying that a tiny kitten had been hit by a car," society officials said in a written release. "Upon examination, it was discovered that Boo's hind leg was badly injured. She was scared, all alone, and in so much pain."

According to the Humane Society, Boo is currently in Pasadena Humane's ICU, receiving the pain medications and specialty care after undergoing surgery to attempt to save her leg.

Now, animal lovers Cynthia & Robert Hall have offered to match–dollar for dollar–all donations made to Pasadena Humane’s Miracle Medical Fund, up to $10,000, to help tiny Boo, according to a spokesperson for the humane society.

All donations to the Miracle Medical Fund today will provide DOUBLE the lifesaving care to injured, bruised, and neglected animals like Boo, who come to Pasadena Humane in desperate need of lifesaving emergency care.
