Loyola Marymount University (LMU) Dining Services by Sodexo hosted a captivating culinary experience as part of the Spring 2024 Family Weekend. The highlight of the event was the "Chef's Table," offering a sampling of items served at different stations featuring the Modern Recipe dining program.
The Chef's Table featured an array of exquisite dishes meticulously curated by LMU's talented culinary team, including:
Acai Tropical Bowl: A refreshing blend of Sambazon acai sorbet, topped with kiwi, blackberries, pineapple, chia seeds, banana, granola, and honey.

Chili Lime Jackfruit Macro Bowl: A savory delight with sofrito black beans, chive roasted corn, red quinoa, sautéed spinach, chili lime jackfruit, hummus, and ancho dressing.
Salmon Plate: Fresh Atlantic salmon grilled to perfection with EVOO, kosher salt, and black pepper, served alongside grilled asparagus and wild rice.

Key players involved in this event included LMU Dining Services, represented by Hannah Rhodes in Marketing, Sydney Sagisi in Marketing & Health and Wellness, and operations team Resident District Manager Kyle Suerth, Erika Meda, Robert Villa, and Claudia Ramirez. The culinary team, led by Executive Chef Bryant Durst and Campus Executive Chef Betsy Corrigan, created a memorable dining experience for attendees.
The Chef's Table event took place on Friday, February 16th, offering families an opportunity to sample the exceptional dining options available to LMU students. This event showcased the diverse culinary offerings and provided valuable dining information and resources to parents and guests.
